1. Performance Guarantee & Refunds
We operate on a strict pay-for-performance model.
- Guaranteed Deliverables: If Credence Media Group fails to secure the number of placements outlined in your plan within 30 days of you approving the draft, you are entitled to a 100% refund.
- Conditions: The guarantee is void if failure to publish is due to Client delays (e.g., taking >48 hours to approve drafts, changing topics mid-process).
2. Editorial Rights & Content Modification
While we draft content to your specifications, the Publication has the final say:
- Publisher Edits: News outlets reserve the right to edit headlines, body text, and images to align with their specific editorial guidelines and formatting styles.
- Headline Changes: A publisher may change a headline to make it more "newsworthy" or SEO-friendly. These changes are standard industry practice and are not grounds for a refund as long as the core message remains intact.
3. Article Structure & Tier-1 Guidelines
Different tiers of publications require different content formats:
- Standard Placements: Typically structured as "Brand Features" or "Sponsored Articles" which allow for more promotional language.
- Tier-1 Publications (Forbes, Bloomberg, etc.): These outlets have strict editorial guidelines. Content aimed for these platforms must often be structured as a Press Release (newsworthy announcement) or a non-promotional Guest Op-Ed. Purely promotional "sales copy" will be rejected by Tier-1 editors.
4. "Sponsored" Tags & Disclosure
To ensure guaranteed placement and compliance with global advertising laws (FTC/FCC):
- Disclosure Labels: Some publications may label articles as "Sponsored," "Brand Partner," or "Paid Content." This is a legal requirement for guaranteed placement and ensures your article remains permanent and is not removed for deceptive practices.
- Organic vs. Paid: While our goal is to make content look as native as possible, the presence of a disclosure tag is a safety measure for your brand's reputation and is not grounds for a refund.
5. Post-Publication Liability (Removal Policy)
- Service Fulfillment: Our service is considered "fulfilled" once the article is live and the URL is delivered to the Client.
- Future Removal: While rare, a publisher may remove an article in the future due to site restructuring, policy changes, or if the Client gets involved in a legal scandal. Credence Media Group is not liable for post-publication removal and will not issue refunds for articles that were successfully published and live for at least 48 hours.
6. Cancellation Policy
- Monthly Plans: Cancel anytime via email 3 business days before your renewal date.
- Yearly Plans: Yearly plans are committed contracts. Early cancellation does not result in a refund of the remaining balance.
